  • How far is Três Sereias from Johannesburg, Pretoria or Durban?"
    All of the above are approximately 1300km from our resort
  • Do you need a 4x4?
    Yes, to reach the resort. However there is secure parking at Inhassoro and we can transfer you the last 35km to the lodge via the beach highway.
  • Self drive requirements?
    Vehicle registration papers. 3rd Party insurance. Valid SA Drivers license. Beach driving permit - if applicable. Boat Permit - if applicable. Fishing license - if applicable. Please stick to speed limits.
  • Flying to Mozambique?
    There are currently two options available: LAM Mozambique National airline flies from OR Tambo-Maputo-Vilanculos. AirLink Flies OR Tambo-Vilanculos direct. We can arrange airport pick up and drop off.
  • Self catering - What should I bring?
    There are shops in Inhassoro where you can buy almost all your food & drink supplies. Fresh bread is available daily from local villagers by prior arrangement. Ice can be made in your freezer or can be purchased in Inhassoro.
  • Cellphone reception and data?
    Data is very affordable in Mozambique. We reccommend you buy a Moz sim card at any Vodashop throughout Moz. Cellphone reception is mostly good near any town
  • Are there any bars or restaurants nearby?
    Mermaids Tiki Bar is on our property and serves meals and drinks. Great for sundowners. Inhassoro has a variety of pubs and restaurants.
  • Do you have loadshedding?
    Três Sereias is an Eco-Resort and we are totally Off-Grid. We have solar power and a water processing plant. PLEASE refrain from using heavy usage appliances.
  • What to pack?
    Mosquito repellent & Malaria prophylactics are at your discretion. Don’t forget to pack your camera and a pair of binoculars for any keen birders. Hats, Sandals, Sunblock, Towels, Sunglasses etc as the sun in Mozambique can be harsh.
  • What currency should I bring?
    Credit cards are accepted at most shops etc. Metical but USD and ZAR are widely accepted There are numerous ATMs which accepts credit & debit cards
  • When is the best time of the year to visit?
    Between November and February, temperatures soar into the 30's. If you don’t mind rain and humidity, visit during the rainy season, December & February. If you’d prefer dry cooler weather, between June & September.
  • Fishing?
    BD point is one of the few areas along the Mozambique coast where one can access a vast estuary for light tackle fishing as well as enjoy offshore fishing. A variety of fish can be caught here. King Mackerel (Cuta) King Fish Queenfish Wahooï‚· Ignoblis Kingfish Bonitoï‚· Bludger Kingfishï‚· Yellow Spot Kingfishï‚· Golden Kingfishï‚· Mirrorfishï‚· River Snapperï‚· Grunter (Estuary) Seasonal Marlin and Sailfish. The Govuro River estuary also offers many species of juvenile game fish such as: Barracuda Rock cod Honeycomb rays etc
